Hack Night/Office Hours with NovaNode!

This month's Hack Night/Office Hours is jointly hosted with our friends NovaNode and we will be in a different location this time.

This is a casual "geek gathering", where you can hack on a node.js project, get help/advice, or ask questions about anything node.js related. Anyone working with node.js at any level (or anyone wanting to work with it) is welcome.

Our meetups are always filled with a mix of people and skills present, and I expect this to be the same. So feel free to bring your questions pertaining to system admin/dev ops, best practices, installation issues, etc.

Attendance is free, and food and drink will be provided by Fluencia. For this reason, it is mandatory that you keep your RSVP up to date. The deadline for changing your mind will be one day before the event.

No recruiting, please!

Lots of devs coding and plenty of socializing afterwards. It was fun.

All, very sorry for the last minute notice but my wife is sick and that leaves me on toddler duty! I was really looking forward to tonight but hopefully I will get to meet you all at the next get together. -Sam

Oh no! Sorry to hear about your wife. You'll just have to teach your toddler about node! :)

Hey everyone. Hope you are all excited for tonight.

Wanted to let you know of two projects that are pretty regular at these things: 1) We are making a "MEAN" style website for @NodeDC. See & fork the repo here: https://github.com/nodedc/node.dc 2) NodeSchool, which is a great way to start learning Node.js: http://nodeschool.io/

Post below of any projects you want to work on tonight if you'd like. See you tonight!

Hi Josh, look forward to meet you all and work on projects, if my skills match, I am not so experienced on node. Look forward to learn from the group.

I'm looking for folks who want to work on
    https://github.com/krismeister/peer-collage

Its a webrtc photo sharing app. Using peer.js and some node http server(i forget). Its already on its 3rd node hack night and its working decent.

    Next steps include:
    - deploying it on the interwebs!
    - tweaking a mobile view for phones.
    - adding some instructions when you first land there.
    - time permitting new photo collage views.
