One less ruby shop in Tallahassee.

Hi guys,

After conducting two full searches for Rails developers in Tallahassee and not finding anyone with more than 1 year of experience, my current employer (DMS) is very seriously considering switching to anoher platform. Currently I am the only Rails developer here at DMS (or at least the only one who's actually coding in Rails), and while I'm training another developer, we just don't have the man-power to get all the work done.
If you have any information or data demonstrating Ruby growth in the Tallahassee area, would you please help us out and send an email? I'd love to go to my boss with some numbers and show that Ruby is in fact a reasonable primary technology for our area.

I've considered showing him increase in membership numbers for our group, but given that we've had no meetings and extremely low attendance to the past few meetings, I might be digging a deeper hole rather than digging us out of one.
Any few minutes you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys,
