Accepted as an O'Reilly User Group

Just a quick note to let you know we've been accepted as an O'Reilly User Group.

This is pretty cool, since it entitles all members of the brigade to a 35% discount on all O'Reilly book purchases through their site or over the phone. We'll also have the options of getting new O'Reilly releases for free as review copies, in exchange for a published review or just as an addition to a group library. There are other cool fringe benefits like books for door prizes (I'm trying to get one in time for the January meetup) and the possibility of having O'Reilly authors speak at our meetups.

I've also applied for the Apress user group program, so we should have a decent group lending library soon :)
