I've been programming since I was a kid, but resisted the urge to get CS degrees when it came time to go to college. So I got degrees in Mechanical and Nuclear engineering... but seemed to keep programming nevertheless. A position at the U.S. Department of Energy's office of Risk Management in the 90's got me early exposure to web development, and later jobs at an instrumentation design company and the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute solidified my experience in developing user interfaces to technology, especially through interactive web applications. After moving to the Pioneer Valley recently, I've been trying to find a niche into which I can apply my broad programming skills... but I'm finding I'm more of a programmer than a marketeer!
I'm a software developer working with CommunicateHealth and a California client. I like to fix broken stuff. I'm married with two awesome boys - the 8 yo is hooked on Scratch!
