The Sun is a monthly American magazine of essays, interviews, short stories, poems, and photography.

Join us for a discussion of any entry from the January of THE SUN magazine. We encourage participants to get their own subscription -- or borrow the copy from a subscriber.
FYI, on the magazine website -- thesunmagazine.org -- you can browse through a significant fraction of each issue's offerings. At no cost. (If you contact me, I can scan and email you any article from the table of contents.)
The magazine encourages the creation of local SUN GROUPS for purpose of getting readers together to discuss issues's content (and maybe share readers's own writings). This meetup group is the first such group for Louisiana. (Texas has close to a dozen.)

We meet at the awesome, newly remodeled Community Center attached to the Keller Branch of the New Orleans Public Libraries -- in Broadmoor (where S. Broad meets Fountainbleu Drive and Napoleon Ave.). We'll sit inside or outside. (Refreshments available at the Green Spot cafe'.)
