Tell us a bit about your interests in reading. Be specific.

I usually read non-fiction with a focus on gender studies and international development, but I'm making a concerted effort to read more fun fiction books. My favorite book is nonfiction, and it's Leymah Gbowee's, "Mighty be Our Powers". Her story is super amazing and inspirational... she's definitely my hero! As of right now I'm reading "Freedom" by Jonathan Franzen and I'm really enjoying it!

What are preferred locations and days for you?

I work full-time and live uptown near the Prytania theater so I prefer meeting on weekends or evenings at a location that I could preferably bike to from home.

Are you strictly interested in discussing novels? What about short stories, poetry, plays, childrens lit.,etc?

I'm open to reading anything! I read a lot of non-fiction as well as novels.

When managing your Profile, please be mindful that [1] a recognizable photo of you helps & [2] someone else in the group may share the same first name & [3] nickname/handle though clever and cute, are a distraction and a burden on others. All fair?

Sounds good!
