Get your engine going before next week's hack night!

Hello Rubyists, and our ever-growing polyglot corps!

I'm emailing to let you all know that our usual weekly hack night, on Tuesday the 6th, will be directly following an introductory event from LaunchPad Ignition, a startup accelerator organized by your favorite co-working space (it's your favorite because they host hack night every week). Ignition provides mentorship, introductions to angels and funds, a crash-course in business development, marketing, pitching, and more, all to help you get your new business off the ground. I can say from experience that it's a great way to learn.

The event is called 3-2-1 Ignition, and it's meant to be an introductory session to answer questions that any budding entrepreneurs might have, provide a feel for the program, and tell some stories about what applicants can expect from last year's class (that would be me).

It starts at 5:30 and runs until 7, so if you've ever had any interest in starting your own thing, showing up a little bit early for hack night would be a swell way to start. Even if you're not sure you'd want to do this alone, it's a good way to meet like-minded people and bounce ideas around, then have a hack night as normal. And of course, any friends you have that are less interested in hack night are welcome too.

You can find more information and RSVP for 3-2-1 at the eventbrite link below.

Hope to see you Tuesday,
