Deep Relaxtion: 30-Minute Guided Meditation

Every Sunday morning at 9:00-10:00am just before the Nondualism Satsang, there is a period of deep relaxation. We alternate from week to week between sohum mantra sushumna kriya, yoga nidra, om mantra sushumna kriya, 30-minute guided meditation, and possibly other practices. Each of these has a unique way of leading you to a state of deep relaxation. We will start the practice punctually at 9:00am so that we are certain to be finished before the 10:00am start of the Nondualism Satsang. You are welcome to come early if you'd like to have some quiet time for visiting with one another.

THIRD SUNDAY of each month is a 30-minute guided meditation in the systematic method of the tradition of the Himalayan masters. In this approach to meditation, you gently and systematically move your attention ever more inward through the levels of your being, starting with body, then breath, then to stilling the conscious mind, and on to a very relaxing stillness and silence. This recording is from the very popular meditation CD "Basic Yoga Meditation" by Swami Jnaneshvara. That CD also has shorter versions of the same systematic method, including 3, 7, and 11 minute meditations.
