The Wilmington Peace Meetup Group takes the lyrics to heart by offering members a chance to network and brainstorm how we can work locally to bring about peace, especially in Iraq. Over half the nation believes that the invasion of Iraq by the US was a horrible mistake. Many of us have felt powerless to deter our government in its violent ways. This Meetup Group offers a first step to reclaiming our power as citizens to work for peace, both at home and in other lands. Add your heart and hands to this important work!
