Just pulled the nail out. My dad told me it could just be a nail head and not have pushed all the way through. Now i have a flat rear tire and a 1.5 inch steal rod. need a new tire now. Ill be working on it all day Saturday. If anyone has a rear tire stand i can borrow, let me know. would make this job a lot easier.

the tire only has 3,500 miles on it. so its still fairly new. Its still holding air so i may have had the nail for a while and just now noticed it. Ill take it to a tire place and see what they say to do. Also have a set of new Dunlop Q2s i can buy from my brother if needed

Was a great ride. Did manage to drop my bike slightly and scratch up a few things. no big deal. got new signals today and will replace the clutch lever soon. sad part is i picked up a nail in my rear tire on my trip today so now that needs to be replaced to.

Had a great ride. Long and twisty. Got a little tired by the end but still well worth it. Only down side is i did drop my bike, but it was on the side i planed on replacing anyway so I'm not out any money i wasn't going to spend anyway. Thanks for the ride, can't wait to go again.

Great Ride altough im so tired i cant even move....That had to be the longest ride ive ever been....Im just glad i was able to ride on a metal tire for the last 200 miles....lol

Skaggs sucks execpt for the begining after that its horrible you need a freakin dirt bike or motard to ride it..

Just got home. The ride was great but Skaggs sucks. Miles of crap road not fit for our bikes. Otherwise everyone had a good time. Mario I enjoyed riding with you. And as always the rest of you are the best of company. Thanks Brian for the ride and get a new tire. I know you were on edge with that. Pics up in a few.

brian...map seems a bit whacky...lettered points are wierd..double check it. I rode Skaggs only once..from hwy 1 starting out to the end in healdsburg. The 1st part from the oceanside is very narrow, torn up and twisty downhill. WATCH OUT for cars. I was almost creamed by a car coming toward me on my narrow side of the road! The 2nd part past the bridge is GORGEOUS smooth road..but speed limit is like 30MPH..I think you will have LEO's out there...so watch out!
