I recently spoke with a man who has created an online screenwriting tool and he's looking for beta testers to check it out and then let him know what they thought, where there could be improvements, etc.
Here is the information you need to check the software out:
I'm looking for beta testers to try out a new web-based screenwriting tool that I'm developing. The tool focuses on developing act and scene structure for your script and allows you to take a bird's eye view of your script and easily rearrange the parts, rather than having to rearrange a 120 page document.
The beta phase is free, and anyone who offers helpful feedback will receive a free account once the service goes live.
Please contact me at [address removed] if you're interested.
So if you're interested, please give him a hand because it's all about making our lives easier. I'll be checking it out myself.
(Formerly known as the Richardson Screenwriters Meetup Group)
Meet with local professional and aspiring screenwriters to learn the craft of screenwriting, critique others' work, and have your own work reviewed. Typical meetings involve editing and Q&A sessions on 3-10 pages of a completed script or script-in-progress. Other meetings focus on various aspects of the screenwriting trade, from pitching and agents to loglines and contests.
You do not have to be a published, produced, or sold writer to participate, but we do ask that you only bring SCRIPTS or script marketing materials (e.g., treatments, synopses, TV series bibles, etc.) to meetings. We do not review book manuscripts, poetry, articles, or other genres of writing.
We hope to see you there and look forward to your contributions. And as always, KEEP WRITING.
