Wednesday Evening Walk - Kirkland Waterfront - Juanita Beach Park to Heritage

Our last couple of weeks we have walked along the water.  It is sunset time at about the time we walk now so let's continue in this theme for a few weeks.  Walks with sound or lake views with the possibility of a sunset.

Let's stroll through some parks along Kirkland's Lake Front.  We will start at Juanita Beach Park and pass through Juanita Bay park, along some streets to past Kiwanis Park, through Waverly Park and ending at Heritage Park. (returning same way or along Market street)  This makes for about a 5 mile RT walk.

You do not need to go all the way, even a stroll from Juanita Beach park to Juanita Bay Park is a nice walk (probably under 2 miles rt)

I was great to see everyone! It was very enjoyable walk. I have noticed that some dogs were smiling walking this trail. :)

Gorgeous walk. This is probably one of the longest evening walks on my roster but worth every step. So glad to see so many willing to do it all. Very pleasant company tonight.
    Thanks all.

Should be another gorgeous evening for a walk. Meet in the parking lot near the 97th ave entrance. Look for my blue Hyundai Tucson.
The walk from Juanita Beach Park to Heritage Park is about 5 miles RT. We want to start right at 7pm in order to complete by 9pm. If you are running late you can try to park at Juanita Bay Park and pick us up there. If you do not feel you can do the whole distance, do what you can and let us know when you are turning back. This was a beautiful walk when we did it last year with many tiny little side parks.
My sweet beautiful Lexus had 3 major teeth extracted today so she will probably not be joining us, only my grumpy little man (who may be a little more insecure than usual without his security blanket).

Poor Lexus, tell her I hope she feels better soon, poor baby. Wow 3 teeth, soft food for a bit.
