Christmas Season Walk - Timberline Park - Brier

Let's get in the holiday spirit by doing festive walks in neighborhoods dressed up for the season.  Afterward we can find a spot for a hot toddy for additional cheer.

Timberline Park  228th Place Southwest, Brier, WA 98036

Just as promised, this neighborhood light display delivers the electric splendor of a twinkling themed cul-de-sac.

This is from 2007: "Brier, Washington's Timberline Park is in its 11th year of their lighting tradition.  If you haven't seen it, it is definitely one of Seattle's must do activities for the holiday season!  These Brier, Washington Residents go all out with gorgeous handcrafted painted figurines and beautiful lighting schemes.

It isn't all for the lights - these beautiful people collect non perishable foods and cash for the Lynnwood Food Bank.  According to their website, just in the last four years alone, they have collected over $100,000 in CASH and roughly 40,000 pounds of food!!!!  They just opened up a couple of days ago and already have almost six hundred dollars as of yesterday.  These guys are making a difference!

You can find Brier Lights at[masked]th St SW, Brier, WA 98036...."

Please check email or this site the day of the event for any last minute changes or cancellations due to weather, road closures, illness, etc.  I will try to post last minute details by 7am.

Pet Adventure is a good meetup point in a shopping mall so lots of parking. It is a good store to stock up on supplies or last minute presents for the fur kids (open until 8pm on their website). There are actually two great neighborhoods here within a stone's throw of each other that do it up on each side of 228th St.! One is right across the shopping center from Pet Adventure technically in Mountlake Terrace (There is a good crosswalk there with flashing light but it is a busy intersection) and the other is a little walk down the hill on 228th St. technically in Brier. Should be very festive and not as crazy with sight seeing traffic on a Monday night. Don't forget lights. Sidewalks all along routes.
