Conditioning Hill Climbs - Edmonds

The buttons on my pants are getting harder to button. Anybody else having this problem after the holidays. Let's push ourselves a little harder and climb some hills and wittle our waists.

Each Monday in January, lets use the Edmonds Library as our starting point and climb some hills. Do not be intimidated.  We will push ourselves but not kill ourselves.  We may have different speeds up the hill but once at the top we will wait and regroup for all to arrive before moving on.  If fitness is your goal, this is the walk for you. Plan on about 45-60 minute walk time.

Good workout, good weather and good company. Thanks for coming out. Next week we will do the Main St Hill and maybe make a loop of Yost Park - so wear shoes you don't mind getting muddy.

See you all later. I will be starting from the parking lot just below the library at 4PM. I try to start this one right on time. If you are running late i plan to do a series of short hill climbs on the streets just south of Dayton. Up one and down another (walnut, pine, alder - whatever order they are in) between 6th and 9th. We will walk for about an hour. We will stop at the top of each hill to wait for everyone to get to the top. If you can only do one that is fine, just let us know if you are stopping and join us again next week. These are intended to improve each persons condition, everyone is not starting out in the same shape. Improvement is the goal. I drive a blue hyundai tucson. Look for that in the parking lot.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
