RESCHEDULED TO A WEDNESDAY.
"Non-combat" tennis lobbers and volleyers for friendly hits at one of the most beautifully secluded and unknown wonders (shhhhhh!!) in Metro Vancouver. Cates Park. Look it up, overhead, from Google Maps.
Let's play if weather is nice only.
The courts are correctly oriented in respect to sunset and is surrounded by tall trees that protect the court from crosswind.
It is almost as good as the courts at the legendary Lorne Park tennis club in Mississauga. The surface is quick-dry, but with a reasonably small pebbling, unlike the one near Second Narrows Bridge.
Very few people play at these great courts.
We had great fun at the earlier meetup -- here's the link to photos and post-play comments.
No "hard hitting" please! Bring your fave courtside jests instead.
