Night Time Snow Shoe to the Hollyburn Lodge.

There is a trail from the Nordic Ski area that will take you to the HollyBurn Lodge.

Location: Drive through the Cypress Mnt Nordic ski area heading to the end of the parking lot. You will pass the ticket booth and the tubing area at this point if you continue on the parking lot will end. The hiking trail starts here. I will be waiting with a reflective vest on. Its about a 1/2 hour hike to the Lodge . You can just wear some good hiking boots, the trail will be compacted. It would be better if you brought snow shoes or crapon's since it will be dark. A head lamp is a must as it will be very dark.

Leave 7:15 pm sharp.

Have a snack or meal and chat.

Amir and Quietstorm: I can give you 2 a ride up to Cypress. I will pick you up in the small open parking lot right across from the coffee shop at the northern end of the Quay at 6:20.

There is a Cyrpus express bus that leaves from Lonsdale Quay and Park Royal http://cypressmountain.com/express-bus if you are not able to sort out rides up to the mountain

Marshall, I'am a dog owner. We are planning to go into the Lodge. I do not know how accepting of dog's they are outside the Lodge. What I did notice is they have a fire pit outside and hopefully it would be burning. If so I think it would be fun to stand by the fire before we went into the Lodge.

What a great idea, I wish I could join but alas I think the ankles are not quit ready for snow yet. Enjoy.

I looked into the Guided night time snow shoeing. Their prices are $50 and $80. Although, you would get to hike the HollyBurn trails and have Fondue. I figure we could just hike the access road to the Lodge
