Pub Quiz - Trial

Some of us were considering trying a different pub quiz, as the current one isn't as much fun as it used to be - so we thought we'd try the Peacock in the Kettering town centre. The actual quiz starts at 8.30pm, giving people plenty of time to get there. They do food too. So come on give it a try - who knows

I so enjoyed last night, it was more relaxed than The Park House, I can't wait for the next one, can't believe we won, Emily Bishop and Fraggle Rock, that's what sealed it for us I reckon! lol XX

Further to your email Steve I have contacted the Peacock. Ignore the comment below re tables, the Manager said she was wrong.

    Details are:
    - Tables cannot be booked. You can sit anywhere in the pub.
    - There is a limit of FIVE people in a team - no exceptions!.
    - The basic rounds are free. However if u want to do the money rounds, like open the box etc, you have to pay.
    - Starts at 8.30pm and ends around 10.30pm.

It's a great pub, and although I've not been there for a while, it was always cheap for drinks, The Park House is expensive. It's in between Superdrug and the Post Office.
