If you missed Katie's great recent presentation at the Sonoma Humane Society, your in luck. The Santa Rosa chapter of the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is hosting her at 1pm on Sunday, Nov 10. Before the presentation there will be a vegan potluck lunch (at 12 noon). Don't miss this interesting and enlightening presentation on factory farming and how it impacts our lives, our environment and the lives of animals. Katherine Cantrell is a UC Berkeley graduate and former president of the Berkeley Organization for Animal Advocacy. She founded the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition in 2009 to educate people about the ecological, moral and social justice hazards of industrial meat production in the United States. Katie has delivered over 100 presentations on factory farming for audiences all across the county.
