5pm – Potluck
6pm – Presentation & Cooking Demo
At 6pm, after the potluck, we welcome guest presenter, Katie Mae! Katie will do an informative cooking demo and show us how to make the most nutritious foods taste absolutely delicious! With plant foods as her vehicle, Katie Mae is all about inspiring and supporting people in being their best self. Through nutrition consults, cooking workshops and plant-based recipes Katie empowers people to eat in a way that is 100% sustainable, healthy, compassionate and delicious! Katie sums up her dietary philosophy by saying: “Shifting to a plant-based diet is the best thing we can do for our health, our children and the planet.”
At this demo you’ll receive:
• Tasty vegan samples
• All of the recipes to take home
• The 4 pillars of healthy eating
• 8 habits for the quickest, sustainable weight loss
• The opportunity to win Katie's first e-cookbook

At 5pm before the presentation, join us for great food and conversation at our monthly vegan potluck! Remember, you don't have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend. Just show up with a vegan dish to share with at least 8 people. Vegan simply means no animal products — no meat, dairy, eggs or honey.
Please also remember to bring your own plate, cup and silverware utensils. We would like to make this a waste-free event.
We are deeply grateful to the Sonoma Humane Society for continuing to make their classroom available to us for our potlucks and other events. The Sonoma Humane Society is just west of Llano Rd. on the north side of Highway 12, between Santa Rosa and Sebastopol (look for the big metal dog). You can park around back if you'd like, the classroom is the furthest left door on the back of the building. For more information: CompassionateLivingOutreach.org.
