Northbay Veg Book Club - Meets Weekly on Tuesday

We have picked Comfortably Unaware by Dr. Richard Oppenlander for our next book.   See a video here:

Please read Chapters 1-3 for this meeting.

You’re invited to be a part of Sonoma County Vegan book club. We’ll select the most interesting and informative books out there to read and discuss. Our hope is that these meetings will help us solidify our commitment to eat plant-based and perhaps give us the knowledge to lead a few meat eaters to a healthier, kinder way of eating.

We will meet WEEKLY on Tuesday evenings.

Look forward to having you join us - even if you haven't read the book - you will still be able to have input in the conversation.

You might wonder why you should attend - Because the more we know, the better we can help others understand the vegan lifestyle and hopefully make persuasive yet non judgmental statements.

I am so sorry I missed this! Had house guests who left yesterday after several days, and I simply didn't check my calendar. I'll see you at the next one.

I thought the meeting was very productive. I, myself am much more into the discussions about interacting with non vegans. Also, it's going to be hard for me to make it to Santa Rosa every Tuesday so I would likely miss a session. I can see that it would throw off the continuity of the chapter by chapter format. I'm going to have to find a discussion group in Petaluma with more of an open forum. Anybody who's interested, please contact me.
