Photograph an active volcano on the big island of Hawaii during a three (3) day excursion with award winning photojournalist Frederic Larson. The group will meet at the craters rim on Friday June 21st as we set out to expore this National Park together through the lens of your camera.
We will photograph mainly during the twilight evening-morning hours capturing great moments in great light as nature unfolds its beauty in front of our eyes.If you ever wondered how professional photographers get those amazing National Geographic here’s your chance to learn from award winning photojournalist. He will walk you through his technique on how he was able to capture most of his stunning images in one of the most photogentic locations in the world. You’ll meet Larson out in the field at the magic hours of twilight to
get hands-on instruction on his unique style. You’ll be taught location, composition, camera settings, lighting, telephoto techniques and timing. On Saturday, June 23rd will be photographing the lava flow under a full moon.
The cost will cover all tours and photographic instruction as transportation, lodging and food will be covered by each individual party. Three day intensive photographic training cost $295.00

I wish I could go especially since I begged for this. My back is still recovering and I can barely walk so I can't imagine walking over lava. If you do this again I will definitely attend (anytime after July)
