Great Moments in Great Light in Hawaii

Capture Great Moments in Great Light with photojournalist and Pulitzer Prize finalist Frederic Larson. A walking photography tour in 4 different locations in Honolulu, the class meets at Waikiki Beach, Magic Island, Chinatown and Foster Botanical Gardens, and provides hands-on photography lessons covering available light, composition, peak action, anticipating a moment, portraiture and street fine art photography. At the conclusion of the week, each photographer is critiqued by Larson and workshop participants in a classroom environment. The experience is offered to all levels of photography from the beginner to the more advanced.

Frederic Larson is a true gentleman, consummate professional and a wonderful teacher. All my life I was shooting pictures using "AUTO" mode and after Frederic's class my camera is permanently on "MANUAL" mode with no chance of going back to "AUTO". Finally, I am on my way to becoming a photographer. My classmates - Pat, Dave, Terry, Kathy, Eddy, and Amy - are awesome human beings, fun to be with and great photographers and their works speaks for them. Have fun shooting using MANUAL mode!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
