    This shot was not easy ... and if you didn't have a filter that wasn't bullet proof you must be seeing double now. The sun is tricky, I do better sitting on the moon. Hope to see everybody for the 75th fireworks. A rare type of partial solar eclipse was seen over San Francisco on Sunday 5/20. The eclipse begin at 5:16 p.m. Sunday when the new moon moved slowly across the sun's face and blocks most of it, providing a spectacular event for Bay Area viewers. Note: A photo illustration of (6) different photographs layered together to show the progression of the partial solar eclipse.
