Please arrive by 6:30 and plan on being in the water by 6:45. We can decide at that time if we want to do lake or lake and river. Bring a light for your boat in case we are getting back at dusk.

The weather held out! I was shocked and delighted. We got drizzled on near the end.

Here now. Looking pretty good.
just a sprikle here, no thunder.
Weather looking bad- don't want to drive that far and get out on the water and have to high tail it back in so I'm going to bail. Looking forward to our next paddle and the CSK paddle on Wednesday.
Looks like thunderstorms for the foreseeable future. Next time.
Ok as of now we are a go. I just can't stand the thought of cancelling another outing. It is supposed to rain and possibly storm. We will cut the event short if necessary.
If you decide you are not coming please update your rsvp so I know who I am looking for.
Peggy, Karen and I will not be there. I live 40 miles from Wendy Park and don't want to drive all the way down there for a short paddle. We will catch up with everyone the next time.
It's no for me at this point. I'm bummed.
A maybe at this point.
I am new to the sport and do not have a light for my boat. Is this absolutely necessary to participate Monday July 22nd? If not I would love to join you.

Sarah the Coast Guard requires a white light on the stern of your boat 1/2 hour before dusk. We will most likely be getting back to the beach with in that window. You just rig a flashlight or a head lamp to work this time if you'd like. It is to make us visible to other boaters.
If the weather holds and we can go I have an extra light u can borrow
I am keeping an eye on the weather.
We have the realtor open house Tuesday. Too crazy with getting the house ready. When I RSVP'd Yes, we hadn't even planned to sell! But we have to focus on this right now. Have fun!

I had something come up, so can't come.
Wish I could attend, but I have classes for two weeks...homework will need to be done!

Looking forward to Monday. Make sure to have a light for your boat. I think we will definitely do the river as one of the attendees expressed interest in this to me. Will need to do a little lake first to get there!
Looking forward to it!

Not sure if you guys have the app but there's one called "Launch Sites" that tells you all the places to take off. It's free and tells all the places close to you! See ya on the river!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
