Person who will be moving all the stuff for donations to our garage (for Friday pick-up) can only come at 6:30 tomorrow evening. Both "events" became necessary only today as realtor is holding an open house. So sorry for the late notice.

Hope you all know my prior post was just my weird sense of humor. Do come out and join us. This activity is like knowing how to do CPR (or is it called "CC" now?); it saves lives. Plus it's fun learning. Bring a nose clip, goggles, a mask, or whatever else you need for swimming under water. I wear the goggles and, if nothing else, it's worth joining us just to see how idiotic I look when I'm also wearing a bicycle helmet.

I don't intend to get wet/fall in/go anywhere but flat water. Besides, if I do swim, I'm near shore/have friends to help me/only paddle when the water temp is above 70 degrees. Besides, I don't use a spray deck/I have a sit-on-top/only paddle on LaDue. Not to mention I don't want to look stupid/work that hard to have a new skill/have to put my head under water. And did I mention my hair will get wet/I'm too vain to get in a pool/I only want to kayak not practice? If not that, I don't have a kayak/never join you folks anyway/find rolling and/or wet exits pretty lame. But, wait, Peggy! I may just have fun learning something new.

Isn't anyone else interested in this? It is a great skill to learn, even if you don't think you will ever swim accidentally!

Libby no problem with your guests coming. I have taken that option off now though so we can get as many of our members there as possible. May change that and reopen to guests when it gets closer.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
