Uniting people and water!
2015 marks the final season for Nothern Virginia Water Sports
Thanks for your support for the previous six seasons. I've met some great people over the years. I had a great time getting on the water. You are all the reason I continued the motto of uniting people and water. It's now time for me to take a break and focus on other things. Though the group is slated to close at the end of the 2015 season I will remain an active water sports enthusiast. I will start a simple email reflector for anyone who would still like to continue getting together.
Northern Virginia Water Sports members are a diverse group of laid back individuals who just want to get on, in, or be near the water, relax, and enjoy a few hours of sunshine. The membership comprises of paddlers, boaters, skiers, SCUBA divers, and those who participate in other types of water sport activities.
While the main theme of the group has focused on kayaking, a wildly popular activity in this area, new activities are being added such as beach volleyball and tubing. The aim is to continually increase membership participation by spreading around the activities.
Whether you have joined us in the past or have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for an interesting activity come on out and at least say hi. We promise not to feed you to the fish!
Welcome, Water Sports enthusiast!
