Even from the beginning, man has used color in everyday life The natives of Africa and S America (the Aztecs and Mayan), the Egyptians, all made use of the active properties of reds, oranges, yellows, and gold in their tribal dress Heads of clergy throughout history have dressed in the calming colors of blues, purples, white and indigo. The healers of old used the greens of the earth to cure their dis-eases.

Five hundred years before Christ, Pythagoras recorded his uses of color for healing. Today color therapy still makes sense, but many refuse to believe that color can affect both physical and mental health. Scientists are now discovering countless effects of color. They can measure the frequency or wave length and the effect on certain phenomena which is now providing a logical explanation for a system of therapy long considered merely folk lore.
Color therapy is not a quick fix for longtime illnesses, but it does provide a healing environment that can prevent dis-ease and over time cure many of today’s common ailments.

Color is an experience. When was the last time you witnessed a sunrise or sunset? The intensity of the colors can be quite overwhelming on a clear day. The sun emits light and the reflection of that light onto our earth creates the wide range of colors that we see every day.

Mariah Prosper is a 20+ year student of Healing, Herbal lore, and Metaphysics. She has been interested in Metaphysics, Herbs, and the Occult sciences since her early 20’s. In the eighty’s she experienced a remarkable phenomenon that turned her attention to Healing, Egyptian Alchemy, and the Eastern philosophies. Healing on all levels of being then became her passion.

She has studied with several Healing Masters and has become a Master herself in six Reiki Systems; Usui, Karuna™, Tibetan Seichim, Raku-Kei, Blue Flame, and Adama StarFire Reiki™ which is a Soul Altering Reiki that she has channeled since 1998. She is a certified Hypnotherapist through the Awareness Enrichment Center in California; Aromatherapist through the Center for Traditional Aromatherapy, USA; Pastoral Psychologist, Doctorial of Metaphysics and Dream Psychologist through the University of Metaphysics and the International Metaphysical Ministry of California. She has mastered the energy systems of Light Language™ through the Institute of Light Language™, Axiatonal Connection and Activation of Geometric Light Body through the Academie of Light, both in Houston, TX. Other healing studies include Herbs, Magnetic Healing, Crystal Healing, Chakra healing, Color Therapy, Therapeutic Touch™, Egyptian Yoga, Kriya and Tantra Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Nei Kung, and whatever else she could soak up in the past 20 years.

She is a member of the Kriya Jyoti Tantra Society, a student of the Vama Marga Path of Tantric Kriya Yoga, Saraswati Order, and also a member of the Universal Reiki Institute under the direction of Goswami Sunyata Saraswati. She is a registered Karuna Reiki™ Master with the International Center of Reiki Training in Michigan, and also a registered Healer with the University of Metaphysics in California.

Throughout the years Mariah has owned and operated Scorpio Herbs, Co-owned Kundalini’s Herbs and Gifts, and now promotes her teachings and product line on her website and web store. She has lectured or taught at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, The Lotus in Kansas City, Duncanville High School, Scorpio Herbs, Aids Resource Center in Dallas, North Texas University in Denton, Kundalini’s Herbs in Dallas, Better Business Bureau of Dallas/Ft. Worth, and for various Society meetings throughout North Texas.
