Introduction
I recently moved up here from Houston, and I'm looking forward to meeting new people and maybe making some new friends!
What type of photography do you like to shoot the most?
I spend most of my photo-related time following my son around. But I like a bit of everything from portraiture to landscapes to high-speed (Edgerton) photos.
What level of experience is your computer skills? (Novice, Advance, or Extremely Technical)
Extremely technical. I'm the senior Unix system administrator for a (small but) global networking company in Plano.
What type of software do you use to process your digital images?
GIMP and Photoshop CS for editing. gwenview for browsing--but I'm working on writing a photo browser that will support IPTC the way I want and still display images quickly.
What is most important to you about a club? (Social Venue, Education, or Networking)
All the above! 8-)
What level of experience is your photography skills? (Beginner, Advance, or Professional)
Technically: advanced. Artistically, not so much.
