Lacamas Half Marathon- A Fit Right Event

Note: This event is organized by Fit-Right and we will be participants in their event. You can choose to walk or run the course but there is a four hour time limit. Walking that would be about a 3.3 mile per hour pace. All participants will take the course at their own pace. Course is well marked and there are aid stations every two miles.

YOU MUST ALSO GO TO:

LACAMAS HALF MARATHON AND 4-MILE REGISTRATION

AND PAY THE ENTRY FEE.

Event Overview

This is the 10th year for the Lacamas Lake Half Marathon Event! With the 10th year comes change. This year, the start and finish will be in downtown Camas the day following the big Camas Day Celebration.

The course will have a hill at the start and then it's flat to the lake. The moderately challenging course does a full loop around Lacamas Lake. This new route eliminates two of the major hills from prior years then provides for a very fast finish as you'll run down Dallas drive into downtown Camas with the finish right in front of Liberty Theater.

After the event, enjoy great music at the NEW beer garden and some amazing food vendors! Register and see why this event continues to grow and is viewed as one of the most beautiful half marathon courses in the region!

Headphones are allowed this year, but dogs will not be allowed on the course due to insurance restrictions. Thank you in advance for helping to make the Lacamas Lake Event safe and enjoyable!

For Parents

Don't forget to bring your kids. Our kids' 1K has doubled in size every year, helping to make our Lacamas Lake event a family affair! The courses are now Baby Jogger friendly.

Does a race walker register to WALK or RUN?
    Thanks!

Well...if you mean a person who walks the course always making sure at least one foot is on the ground at all times you would sign up as a walker. If you refer to one who walk / jogs the course then you would sign up as a runner. Some sign on for the walk event but then walk/jog or even run part or all of the course. This throws off the place for others since they did not technically walk the entire course giving them a time advantage. That is my opinion but you may want to contact Fit-Right, the race organizers for the official ruling.

Scott, did I do that correctly? I see it says entry fee is paid, but do I need to fill out anything else?

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
