NJM Code of Conduct

Dear Current and Future NJM members;

Welcome to Not Just Moms Organizer Group. I would like to add a personal note about what I feel our group should strive to be ?.. what we can be as women, Moms and organizers.

I hope for us all to find in here a place where we can give and get honest feedback, without fear of stereotypes, "attitude" or retribution. I want to create an environment where our positive energy toward one another, as mamas and women becomes contagious.. and we bring it to our own groups, homes and communities. Promoting kindness, understanding, level headedness, a camaraderie that we do not find easily going through our lives. Teach these things to all of our daughters so they can spark a new movement of their own where women all over will have empowerment and be empowered to create their own happiness?. surrounded by acceptance rather than negative "stinkin thinkin"?? you know what I mean.

So the next time you feel it well up in YOU? think, is this a NJM way? How can I promote a positive picture of women? How can I be a better mama, organizer and teacher of our daughters, to give and get respect?
