Book Group - Non Fiction

This is a regular non fiction meetup, which will take place on the second Tuesday of every month.   As well as a lively discussion about the book, there is a decent pub quiz afterwards (which we quite often win, which means free beer!)

Books

March - War of the Running Dogs: Malaya,[masked] by Noel Barber
April - Hysteria in Nineteenth Century Paris by Asti Hustvedt
May - The Adventure of English by Melvyn Bragg
June -
The Examined Life: How We Lose and Find Ourselves  by Stephen Grosz

Please watch out for a possible change of venue for the next meeting (ie to different pub but still in Beeston)

Not been for a few months so it was great to catch up with everyone. We had a lively discussion about the book chosen and related topics. Great fun and I look forward to next time.

For anyone coming by bus from the city centre, the Y36 (but NOT the NCT 36) stops right outside the pub.

Hoping to be able to make it. Anyone taking a car from Nottingham city to the pub? Would make it easier for me to get there if I could grab a lift... Thanks in advance. ;-)
