Lady Bay Arts Festival 2013
18th and 19th May
12-6pm

We are really pleased that this year's festival will be showing the work of 56 artists in 21 venues, offering a chance to spend the weekend in Lady Bay enjoying the unique experience of viewing art in artists's studios and the homes and gardens of local residents. The 2013 programme includes the opening of All Hallows Church and halls with 16 artists exhibiting sculpture, paintings, photography and video installations. Visitors can expect to experience a variety of creative practices and a chance to meet artists from the Midlands who have successfully exhibited in the region and nationally. And to enjoy all this in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere!

There will be a number of workshops and activities for children at Lady Bay Primary and some other venues. Refreshments will be widely available and as usual home made cakes and wine will be on offer.

Admission is £2 per adult for the whole weekend and free for children and includes entry to all venues and a brochure with a map of the art trail.

Meet in the Poppy and Pint at 12ish for a drink before having a look round the many exhibitions.  We could arrange to meet in the pub again later if people wish.

This meetup is also on the Nottingham Sociables calendar.

It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Great company and it was good to chat to new people too as well as with existing members. My apologies to the group I managed to loose after the school.

Really enjoyed it and look forward to meeting up again in July as madly busy for next month. Couldn't get to later meet up in pub as eyes streaming from hay-fever - I'm one of few people delighted by this damp weather!
The art trail has inspired me to get going with my own stuff.

Liam is now the host for this event (thank you!!). The event will go ahead as planned, except he would like to meet back in the Poppy and Pint at 3 o'clock after you've all had a wander. James and I are sad to miss this and hope that you all have a lovely day.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
