Art, chatter and tea @ Nottingham Contemporary Gallery

Meet Nottingham Sociables members for a wander around the 2 new exhibitions at Nottingham Contemporary, followed by a cup of tea and chat in the Cafe Bar downstairs.

This time we will see art created by Marvyn Gaye Chetwynd (who was until recently known as Spartacus Chetwynd, and was a Turner Prize nominee last year), and Tala Madani.

I'll be in the entrance hall/foyer area (just next to the shop) of the Contemporary at 2.00.  If there's room I'll be sitting on the bench in the window.

I suggest that we look around the exhibitions either together or in smaller groups (the larger group does tend to separate into smaller ones on these occasions), and then meet at around 3.00 in the cafe downstairs. We can drink tea, eat cake, and discuss our favourite/least favourite art!

See here for information about the gallery, the location, etc...
