Games Day

  • The Orange Tree

Games Day is a monthly meetup of board and card games, starting at 3pm and continuing as long as we like (we tend to finish around 7pm but this varies according to everyone's stamina).

If you have favourite games please bring them along. People are also always free just to socialise, eat and drink. If you are a newbie do come along, you are welcome and we want to make you feel at home. We tend to have a mix of people, who like different styles of games. We have some regulars and we always have new people. We try to make sure everyone who wants to play a game can do so.

Other regular Nottingham game events you might like to know about:

Crocus Café Board Games Night (Facebook)
Friendly Association of Nottingham Gamers (Facebook)

I must admit I didn't know what to expect but I really enjoyed it. Everyone was friendly and I loved the Settlers game. Thanks to Nirav for bringing that and thanks to James for organising the event. See you all at the next one!

Hi Holly there's disabled parking in trinity square car park near the orange tree, do Google it. You should be fine with your car, I've got a similar car and it's been fine. There is on street parking but is normally all taken up. The disabled entrance to the orange tree is on the side, once you enter we'll be on the left. See you there.

I think I'll come for few games. Love playing them but rarely anything other than digital versions of board games. Might be coming with one of my cousins

So long as I didn't annoy people last night I will come, although only got 5 hours sleep so may need prodding at certain times.
