Welcome to Games Night! Why not spend an evening in good company having a chat and a drink whilst playing some board games? This event differs from our regular games day as we often have a 'featured game' that we will play, along with any other games people feel like bringing along.

If your interested in board games, why not check out

A little bit of shameless self-promotion before next week's games night.
I'm giving away a Humble Bundle which includes the digital version of Small World on the Facebook page. I'd appreciate a like and a share :)

To keep this from being total self-promotional spam. Is there anythign in particular that anyone would like me to bring along on Tuesday?

We've ended a couple of the nights with it recently as it can take up to 18 people and is a nice lightweight way of rounding up the evening.

Well that was a fun packed night, emphasis on the packed! Well, and emphasis on the fun too. So I guess I'm just shouting as usual... which is probably why I'm a little horse this morning.

Thanks to everyone, I had a great night yet again. We should do it again some time.. oh wait.. we will be! See you in a couple of weeks. :)

I had a blast as usual and, like you say, it was great to get around the table with familiar faces as well as new.

'tis a shame, but at least you've remained nourished. May be next time!

I hope the weather is nicer tomorrow evening. I've not tested the big bag o' games for it's water-proof qualities yet!

Sadly can't make this month as it clashes with my regular Tues stuff. However last month was fantastic and I can't recommend it enough.

John - (met Jen on Fri (small world)). Do you have a list of the games you have? or a profile on BGG? Hopefully I can make one again soon and I'll try and bring games that aren't duplicates next time :)

Hi Elsa, It's a shame you couldn't make it last night, but I hope you had fun doing what you're doing :) Jen mentioned meeting you as well. I'd never connected the dots of mutual friends until now!

You're correct in guessing I'd have a BGG account and my collection can be found here:

Being fatally mauled by a werewolf still didn't take the edge off a lovely evening. We innocent townsfolk vow revenge for next time.

There are no innocents. The vigor with which we turned on each other showed our true nature. Frankly, I've become a little scared of you all. :-)

Great night, and new people too. Really enjoyed it.

Sounds good. If I can figure out how to get a link on FB that is ;-)

Thanks! Now I know why competitions are always photos to be shared rather than just statuses. What a nightmare! Especially as meetup likes to add junk into the link above (a dash before the slash) to make that link not work either. Thanks for persisting!

LOL. Yes the "- " fooled me for a while.
