Falafel anyone ? I have always found the spiciness of North African/Middle Eastern food to be warming rather than eye-wateringly hot. Well, I don't know about you but that's just the way I like it. There's something autumnal somehow about the colours and the mix of spices and the slow cooking. So about time for a trip to Marrakesh methinks. The group have been there a couple of times in the evening and the food comes highly rated. What's even better is I noticed a board outside this week saying they're doing a £6 lunch deal which includes two starters and one main. Perfect for sharing if you're that way inclined. Or you can go a la carte I suspect as well.
Sample menu here - I think the £6 deal is probably the Lebanese lunch - http://marrakeshnottingham.co.uk/marrakesh-lunch-menu-2011.pdfHi Kirstin. The lunches usually last around an hour to an hour and a half so we'll probably still be there at 1.30. It's also possible people might go on for a coffee after. I'm emailing my number to RSVPs now. Hope that helps.
