Nottingham Winter Wonderland and Christmas Lights

Nottingham's Old Market Square and Smithy Row will once again be transformed into a magical Christmas card scene this festive season!

The annual Christmas Light switch on, will mark the opening of this year's Nottingham Winter Wonderland on Wednesday 21 November.

Entertainment in the city centre will begin at 5.30pm, with festive street theatre fascinating the crowds and the Nottingham Music School providing music and singing in front of the Council House.

The official light switch on will take place at 6.25pm and a VIP guest turning on the lights.

New editions for this year's Winter Wonderland include a two storey fully roofed Victorian bar with a linked food area and an animatronic singing snowman - a sure favourite with young children!

The two storey Victorian Bar will offer festive food and drink including mulled wine, cider, ale and home made hot Gluhwein.

A nice way to welcome in the festive times - relaxed wandering and excellent fireworks. :-)

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
