Let's go to ASIAN FESTIVAL 2012!!!

Let's explore the 9th Annual ASIAN FESTIVAL 2012, the "Year of the Dragon" multi-cultural blast! It is a FREE cultural event that will help us to experience, and gain a greater understanding of, other Asian countries and cultures, as well as that of the/our Vietnamese culture!

Each participating Asian country will share its’ unique music, cultural performances, food, fashion, handicrafts, & other specialties. It features at least 35 authentic Asian food vendors, traditional Asian performances on stages, & more than 200 multicultural booths! Discover the DRAGON lord of the heavens & rain maker as we explore this year's theme, "Year of the Dragon!"

Liz will be greeting everyone at the George Mason Statue, right outside of the parking deck, on the main level of the campus (3rd level of the parking deck), right outside of the main building "The Johnson Center". I'll be there from 11:00AM - 11:15AM, then it's time to explore the fun. If you arrive a little late, she'll give her cell # and tell you where she is, so you can catch up! The fest starts at 10:00AM, but we'll meet at 11:00AM...

Want to hang out with the group? Awesome! We want to hang with you! Want to venture this alone? Ok! Come say "hi" and we'll bump into you from time to time. Let's have fun, make new friends, hang with the ones we have, and experience this together. Don't miss out!

Sorry we missed this msg, Gabe! The festival was held on campus, near the Lot K parking area, not the main quad of the campus as indicated on Asia Festival's website. I hope you were able to make it and experience the fun anyways! Sorry about that!
