Hey guys, the VVA is a well-respected civic organization in the DMV Vietnamese community; they are having two events this January 7. They do a lot of important work, and deserve to be supported. Both events should be informative and fun. Links to flyers with full info are included below. The link to the VVA website is here:

The mission of VVA is to empower Vietnamese Americans by promoting civic engagement through community organizing and capacity building. VVA seeks to recognize several members of the Vietnamese American community for their involvement in civic engagement with us in the past year. We also wish to highlight the efforts of our young community, such as outstanding high school students and college Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) students, who have been very active in the past year in many civic engagement activities.
VVA led several projects that aimed at promoting greater representation of Vietnamese Americans in our community, such as the 2010 Census to promote an accurate count of Vietnamese Americans and get-out-the-vote campaign during the national mid-term elections to encourage Vietnamese Americans to exercise their right to vote.

Your support would enable us to carry out our projects to build a strong voice for Vietnamese Americans.
VVA is a non-profit, 501 c (3) status, organization. All donations are tax-deductible.
