5th Annual Rooting DC- FREE Urban Gardening Forum and Workshops

This will be our third year attending Rooting DC. It runs Saturday February 18th from 9AM-4PM.

Included in this event are
*Informational Tables with various organizations that support urban gardening, community gardening, as well as ways to procure local funding, resources, etc.
*FREE workshops on things like composting 101, designing an urban garden, procuring funding for a community garden, beekeping 101, mushroom growing 101, etc.
*FREE seeds. =) Always good for a gardener. Sometimes people bring their seeds to our spring garden planning meetup and swap and trade.
*The chance to network with folks who are on the cutting edge of the urban gardening movement. It's always nice to be among like-minded companions for a day.
