Xamarin 3! - Ed Snider

If you missed the Xamarin 3 meetup this month, no worries.... we're doing it again in August!

With the recent release of Xamarin 3 there are some amazing new features and enhancements to learn about including a brand new iOS Designer, Xamarin.Forms, and support for Shared Projects.  This meetup will focus on deep diving into building iOS and Android mobile apps with these new Xamarin 3 features.  Here are some additional details on the topics that will be covered:

iOS Designer: Xamarin 3 brings a brand new iOS Storyboard Designer to both Visual Studio and Xamarin Studio enabling native iOS UI easier than ever with the IDE you know and love.

Xamarin.Forms: With Xamarin 3 you can now share UI code!  The Xamarin.Forms API allows you to build UIs that can be shared and implemented natively across iOS, Android and Windows Phone.(We'll spend most of the time talking about and playing with Xamarin.Forms)

Code sharing in Xamarin Studio: Xamarin 3 brings full support for PCL projects, Shared Code projects, and NuGet to Xamarin Studio!

Pizza will be provided!!
