So far i have heard coda, rubymine, vim, emac, textmate.

It depends on the machine I am working on. If I were editing on a PC I would prefer E. E is Textmate for Windows.

I use vim, with nerdtree. I also use NetBeans at work.

On my Macs, Textmate - with occasional VIM use for spot editing.

On Windows I was using UltraEdit, though thanks to Ed Drain's response I'm going to be checking out E.

textmate on mac ... and jetbrain rubymine on windows ... rubymine is really good when you code scenario based tests using cucumber/capybara ..
