Great concept. Was able to accomplish a lot...assist others...enjoyed AWESOME BBQ!!! Looking forward to the next one....even if I don't have anything to do on my car! I know what's going to be on the menu next time so you definitely don't want to miss out.

Agreed. A lot got accomplished, the food was outstanding, and the guys in the shop were great. It's too bad we can't do these events more frequently.

Hey there, I was wondering if Curry's happened to have a hose for washing cars. I have all the supplies I need except for the water source. I like to wash my own car, but my apartment building doesn't have a car washing area, and I can't seem to find a self-service place around here. Thank you!

Well Jennifer, I can allow it if you come to the meets when we have them, however...the complex doesn't let us do car washing here. But like I said, I can allow it when you come to the meets.

This is very cool! I wish my parts were already here because I would be totally all over this!! Thanks for opening your bays!

What is the ending time?I would like to drop my trans pan, make an adjustment to the pressure valve and replace the pan but there might not be sufficient time for the gasket to cure using red Lexus goo. What do you think? Do you have something to catch the fluid?

They close at 4pm on Saturdays and they are a fully equipped shop.

I'm assuming we have to pay to use the lifts, what is the cost going to be? Will that cost change should you need help/not need help? Would love to make it out but already have plans. I'll definitely look out for these in the future.

Nope...it's free. Will only cost if you have them do the work for you...but that would be at 30% off.

Mark that is a great question, we do stock fluids, fasteners, etc.. however sometimes, occasionally.. we would need to source things we may not have in stock. I do have a wide range of parts suppliers, that usually have most everything we need, and can get it here usually within the hour. What concerns do you have for the job you will be doing to your vehicle? and you can always contact us at the shop as well at[masked]-6900. Also it is beneficial to look the vehicle over first, before starting the work to make sure we have everything you need. Some of our techs have "special tools" and some do not, it just depends on the car. I think the best course of action is to rack the vehicle up, and then inspect first, and our technicians will be here to answer any of your questions as well.

Question - Is there someone to contact ahead of time to let them know your install plans so they can help you make sure we bring all (correct) required parts/fluids, etc. so there are no surprised during the install (ie: special fasteners, special tools, fluids, gotchas. etc.). Does Curry's have a small supply of standard parts/fluids, etc.
Nothing worse than having to leave a car on the lift

Mark, If you contact the shop directly they will be able to fill you in on those details. Also, Currys is posting in this feed so you can hit them there as well.

We are talking about hosting a regular meetup monthly, or bimonthly if everything goes well. We are also in the process of hosting a blood drive, details will follow in the next month or so. Our team is very excited to meet all of you, and look forward to some good eating!! Parking may be challenging, so I am asking all of you to be patient, and park where you can find a spot...as the lot is "Open Parking" We are very excited, and can't wait to see you guys on Saturday!! Have an awesome day!

Forgot to mention...if you have them do the work for you...30% off. I'll send you the flyer. Free food and free workspace to turn wrenches. Does it get any better than that?

I have parts still in the Amazon bag that I need to install. Too bad I've had no access to a lift...until now.

This an an EXCELLENT idea!! Hats off to Curry's Auto Service for providing this needed opportunity to local car enthusiasts. I would love to attend as I have lots of non-started projects I need a guiding hand with, but will be out of town.....damn
My only hope is Curry's (and hopefully other shops) will provide this opportunity again this year
