Hi, my name is John and I enjoy good food, good scotch whiskey and the opportunity for conviviality and conversation offered by groups like this.
What is your favorite food?
Since I grew up cooking with my Italian American mom it would have to be Italian.
What are you hoping to get out of this meetup?
An antidote to the anonymity and boredom of being a single person in a large family-oriented urban area.
Where did you grow up?
I'm a Washington, D.C. area native.
How long have you been in the area?
All my life, although I have lived, worked and studies abroad (Germany, Italy, Mexico)
What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy reading, playing the guitar, cooking, hiking sampling good scotch and studying foreign languages.
