This month Sam Soffes from Seesaw will be presenting his talk "Dispatching Awesome". This talk will show you the ins and outs of Grand Central Dispatch and how you can get the most out of it for your app. Sam is the author of SSToolkit, SSDataKit, and Cheddar. You can find his work on github and follow him on twitter to learn more.
Every month, we meet for some tech talks and free beer. iOS developers can present their newest project/library and then we'll have an hour of networking and drinks. Topics will stay specific to Objective-C and iOS. Open-source projects are highly encouraged, please reach out to Steve Derico if you are interested in speaking.
Thank you very much to our meetup sponsor this month, Crashlytics. Crashlytics makes it insanely easy to collect crash reports in your app. Integrating Crashlytics into your app takes less than 5 minutes and is completely free. Try it today: http://www.crashlytics.com
Please do your best to arrive before 8pm, we will start the talk at 8:05pm and cannot hold the door open for everyone once the talk has started.
The talk was high level (which was totally appropriate for the topic) and really entertaining. Sam clearly loves this stuff. Not really meant to be application driven which a few people didn't seem to pick up on. More of a discussion of a design paradigm. The people I met were all great, high quality as mentioned below. Hope it stays to Wed evenings. I'm a big fan of whoever bought the drinks.

The talk was overly general, and lacked detailed examples. The speaker did not seem prepared.
