Tesla Club Philadelphia

Dear Tesla Enthusiasts

Our organization has grown tremendously because of how much interest there really is about Tesla.  This interest is not just in Philadelphia, and I have heard from people all over the world who want to open Tesla Club chapters.

Our meetings at libraries, ,museums, schools and universities will continue, but it is important that we also have a permanent physical location open to the public and visitors from all over the world.  The club could sustain itself through book sales, art sales, a coffee shop, etc.  We could also operate a webinar and communication center out of the building to connect people all over the country.  We currently have 7700 Tesla enthusiasts in our database.

I believe that by bringing in enough revenue to sustain the club, we would be able to get involved with additional work and projects including printing books, filming documetaries, financing small projects (patents) and paying the costs of our science conference.  We are certainly open to suggestions.

Of course, we cannot forget the "Tesla: Past, Present and Future" traveling exhibit.  We have collected a lot of what we need and are working on a 3D documentation of what the world will look like when all of Tesla's ideas are fully realized.  The goal is to motivate people and show them how great the world can be and that Tesla is the answer.

We recently opened a lab in Zemun and created a strong tie to Serbia where there is probably the largest number of Tesla enthusiasts in the world.  We will continue to work with Zemun and the Nikola Tesla Museum.  Dr. Ogla Zoric will lead the Tesla Science Foundation's Zemun chapter and lead Tesla Days celebrations there.

Dr. Milena Bajic has begun a Tesla Club in Chicago and there has been a lot of interest.  Now Chicago will alse be able to celebrate Tesla Days.

I invite you all to get involved some way and find a chapter to get involved with or start your own.  Join us at http://www.meetup.com/ntesla-38/ to stay tuned to our latest events and news.

I wish everyone a happy 2012!
