North Texas Speculative Fiction Workshop Monthly Meetup

WHAT: NTSFW monthly workshop

WHEN: every 2nd Saturday, 6pm

WHERE: Hurst Barnes & Noble

WHO: contact Alley at alleypat  @  gmail.com (no spaces) or see our website at www.ntsfw.com

COST: $0. Our membership is free, but we do ask that as a member, you 1. attend as much as possible and 2. participate and give back to the group with your critiques and information.

Come visit us at the Hurst Barnes & Noble Bookstore, across from NE Mall. We'll meet at our usual time, 6pm, and our usual day, the 2nd Saturday of the month. A new story challenge will be offered every couple of months and is all voluntary.

Visitors--please attend one meeting and see if this group fits your needs. Not all writing groups work for every writer. If you decide this is the group for you, (and we hope so! ;)) then tell one of the moderators, usually me (Alley), and we'll get you set up on the Yahoogroup where we upload our submissions ahead of time for the group to read and respond. Responses can be both verbal at the group and electronically marked and uploaded in the appropriate folder.

The mission of this group is to help each other become publishable (and better) writers in the spec fic markets.

See our website for more info. www.ntsfw.com Hope to see you all there!

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
