If you haven't RSVP'ed yet for our next meetup on Monday, June 14, please do!
So far, only 4 people said, "Yes." ( And that includes me, so it's really just 3 people!) If more people don't sign-up, I would have to cancel the meeting. I will wait until this weekend, and if there's not enough people, I will send you the cancellation notice.
The topics for our next meeting, information on nutrition, and vaccine, are really important, and I think it would be very beneficial to hear Dr. Gil give us an account from the holistic veterinary perspective.
So if you are interested, please sign up!!!! I hope to see you there!
This group is for people interested in the holistic approach to animal wellness . The primary focus will be on cat and dog nutrition and health, but people with other types of animal companion are also welcomed.
The goal is to establish a productive, learning-oriented group where people can share information on nutrition, alternative & complementary therapies for health mainenance & preventive care, as well as ways to address actual health problems and illnesses that may challenge our animal companions.
Each meeting will focus on one or two predetermined topics, such as raw diet and home-made food, physiology of cats & dogs, supplements, flower remedy, etc.
We would also like to invite occasional guest speakers for lecture or hands-on workshop on relevant topics. Members may also be asked to volunteer to research and give presentation on topics of their interest.
And of course, we will try having lots of fun while doing all or some of the things outlined above!
