Briefly introduce yourself - What do you do, and what do you hope to get out of the NYETM?

I specialize in representing and negotiating commercial real estate transactions for Tenants. Without a doubt, the real estate business has a dynamic nature about it that keeps me energized and on my toes. It forces you to be a quick thinker and to live on the edge. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities that I must resolve for my clients. This is what drives me and what I love most about my field. The increase in the number of technology companies coming into New York has radically changed the landscape. Companies want their workspace to reflect their business model in order to retain employees. This translates into more open concepts, green initiatives and longer, non-traditional work hours. It is critical those companies are represented by someone that fully understands their needs and will fight for them with landlords. I love being that advocate for start-ups to long established companies.

How did you hear about the NY Enterprise Tech Meetup? If you heard about it from someone, who?

I am currently a Senior Associate at Cushman & Wakefield specializing in Real Estate for the Tech Sector in New York City. I have a Masters in Economics and Policy from American University.
