nescala 2013 talks selected

The polls are closed and the lineup for February 8th is set.

Daniel Spiewak, who headlined the first nescala two years ago in New York, takes up the mantle again this year with "The Bakery from the Black Lagoon". You might think you know something about the cake pattern but if we know Daniel, you'll leave his talk realizing you were only toasting pop-tarts before.

We're also excited to have Blake Matheny presenting "Concurrency Anti-patterns for Scala". Longtime ny-scala members will recall Blake's presentation on Finagle and Ostrich from Tumblr's offices in September, 2011.
